Join us for an interactive, hands-on workshop designed to help you save lives and stay safe this summer. Learn how to recognize an opioid overdose, administer Narcan, and protect yourself and others from heat-related illness – all in a stigma-free, community-driven space!

This workshop is open to anyone in the community, especially those who use substances, support others who do, or simply want to be prepared to save a life.
All are welcome. No ID required. No judgment. Just care.
No pre-registration required. First 20 people will be admitted: waitlist available for overflow. There will be classes at 9:00am, 9:45am, 10:30am, and 11:15am. Registration opens at 8:00 AM. Please arrive early to reserve your spot.

By the end of this workshop, participants will
- Understand the risks of fentanyl and recognize signs of overdose.
- What a fentanyl test strip looks like and its uses
- Learn how and when to administer Narcan.
- Practice the recovery position.
- Debunk common myths about opioids, Narcan, and overdoses.
- Learn how heat increases overdose risk and how to protect themselves.
Trainees will go home with free kits in case they ever have to play the Good Samaritan.
