What Services and Features Do We Offer at Each Location?
Glendale: Enjoy our efficient Monday laundry drop-off service from 9 AM to 1 PM, with your clothes ready for pick-up from 9 AM to 1 PM on Tuesday. We collaborate with @molinahealth to ensure a seamless service experience.
Mesa: Every Wednesday from 1 PM to 4 PM, we offer up to two loads of laundry for free as part of our #WashWithCare initiative, helping those in need within our community.
Phoenix: On Wednesdays, drop off your laundry before noon and pick it up fresh on Thursday morning from 8 AM to 12 PM. Additionally, our Phoenix location is a refuge from the summer heat, providing heat relief services every Wednesday and Thursday, ensuring everyone stays cool and hydrated.
How Can You Engage with Our Community Efforts?
Social Spin offers more than laundry services; we enhance community lives through free meals, haircuts, job fairs, and exercise classes. Our Heat Relief initiative in Phoenix provides a cool space during the hot months.

How Is Social Spin Committed to the Environment?
At Social Spin, our dedication to sustainability is a core part of our mission. We've taken significant steps to ensure our operations support environmental health. Here’s how:
- Hybrid Electric Van: We've upgraded our fleet with a Toyota Sienna hybrid electric van, dramatically reducing our carbon footprint. This switch has allowed us to double our fuel efficiency from 18 mpg to 36 mpg, save 467 gallons of gas, and cut down our carbon dioxide emissions by 4.6 tons within the first 100 days of use.
- Funded by Green Initiatives: This eco-friendly upgrade was made possible through a Local First Arizona Green Loan, supported by Growth Partners Arizona, Freeport-McMoRan, and the Vitalyst Health Foundation. This funding is part of a larger initiative to enable local businesses to make sustainable upgrades without financial strain.
- Cost Savings Reinvested: The savings from reduced gas purchases, nearly $5,000 annually, are directly reinvested into expanding our community services. This financial shift not only supports our environmental goals but also enhances our community support efforts.
- Route Optimization: By reevaluating and consolidating our driving routes, we have halved our daily miles. This change saves approximately 20 hours of staff time each week, which is now redirected towards increasing our laundry service capacity, projected to boost our revenue by over $62,000 annually.
These efforts showcase our commitment not just to doing business, but to doing it responsibly, ensuring that we support both our community and our planet.
